Change

I've been wanting to publish this post for a while now. But for some reason it was tucked away in my journal.
We have come to to the end of the year (so soon, I know) but God has sustained each one of us. We all have different experiences and stories we would love to share about how the past year has been. It will soon be time for the new year resolutions,goals and plans. This will mean plenty of change and uncertainty all around us. We do not know what the next year has in store for us, whether good or bad.
But God does not change! That should comfort us. In the midst of our uncertainty he remains certain, he stays the same.


"for I the Lord do not change;therefore you,O children of Jacob,are not consumed". Malachi 3:6
"every good and perfect gift is from above,coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change". James1:17


The attributes of God in times past are still the same even today. He has and will always be our refuge in times of trouble, helper,healer and always loved his people because his love is everlasting. This is a blessing to us and a sweet assurance. We can trust his promises because he will fulfill them.
Lord teach us to praise you for all that is past and to trust you for all that is to come.
